Light in Provence Photography and Writing Workshops Writing Photography Gastronomy Capture the colors and landscapes of Provence in a small group with two leaders - a writer and a photographer. We will explore towns like Avignon, St Rémy, Aix-en-Provence, Arles; visit hilltop villages including Gordes, Roussillon, and Bonnieux, and discover places that are way off the beaten path! In our very small group, we ’ll enjoy private tours of vineyards and producteurs of olive oil, and meet the makers of artisanal cheeses. We will visit Roman ruins, and do a little chanting in ancient abbeys. Walking in outdoor markets, we are surrounded by colors, sweet scents, and good-natured conversations; we’ll photograph and write about it all!

Our home base is a beautiful B&B just
outside of Les Baux de Provence, located off a country lane between olive groves
and fruit orchards. Each room has a private bath, and its own terrace; we
have roses in the garden, fruit trees, and a swimming pool. Our
hostess (pictured to the right) is a French woman of great charm, and a wonderful cook! We travel
at a relaxed pace, with free time every day. The
workshops are open to all levels of experience. Be prepared
to do a good amount of walking in the countryside.
